Can anyone sign up to send money? 


❖ South Africans and Foreign Nationals with valid Identification. 

❖ You need to be 18 years and older so sign up. 


How long does it take to sign up? 


❖ It takes about 20 minutes to sign up and activate account when all documents are in  order.  


What documents do customers need to register with SuperSwift?  


❖ South African ID (green barcode or smart card) 

❖ Valid Foreign Passport 

❖ SA Temporary Resident Permit 

❖ Asylum 


What is the minimum transaction limit? 


❖ Our minimum transaction limit is R300.00 


How much can customers send? 


❖ SA Citizens can send up to R4,999.99 per day and R25,000.00 per month to family  and friends. Please note South African registered customers cannot send  money to themselves. 

❖ Foreign nationals can send up to R3,000.00 per day and R10,000.00 per month to  family and friends. Please NOTE foreign nationals cannot send money to  themselves if the pay-out method is mobile wallet or cash collection. 

❖ Foreign nationals can upgrade their account, allowing the customer to send  R4,999.99 per day and R25,000.00 per month if proof of income is provided. (not  older than 3 months) 

Is proof of address required? 

Proof of address is not required, the customer must only provide their address when  registering an account.

 

How do customers sign up?


❖ Customers can register a SuperSwift account at a money market till at Shoprite,  Checkers, Checkers Hyper, Usave, K’nect, OK Furniture, and House and Home. ❖ Or you can register on our website: www.superswift.co.za 


How can beneficiaries/receivers get their money? 


❖ Cash Collection: Receive money in cash at any of our pay out locations. ❖ Mobile Wallet: Receive money by their mobile wallet provider (Airtel, MTN,  Vodacom, Mpesa etc) 

❖ Bank Payment: Receive money directly into the receiver’s bank account. How do customers send money? 

❖ Customers can book and pay for transactions at the following stores: Shoprite,  Checkers, Checkers Hyper, Usave, K’nect, OK Furniture, and House and Home. ❖ SuperSwift website. www.superswift.co.za 


How do customers pay for their transactions? 


❖ Customers can pay in store. 

❖ The SuperSwift website offers customers the option to pay by instant EFT (Ozow) or  VISA and Mastercard. 


How long will it take for transactions to be paid out? 


❖ Cash collection and mobile wallet transactions are immediate payments from  when the customer has made payment for their transaction. 

❖ Bank transfers take between 2 to 3 working days to reflect in the beneficiaries’  bank account. 


How will the customer know their money has been successfully paid to SuperSwift? 


❖ The customer will receive an SMS and email notifying them that their funds have  been received. 

Can customers cancel their transactions? 

❖ If the customer has not yet paid for the transaction, then the transaction can be  cancelled. If a transaction is not paid within 48 hours of booking the transaction then  the transaction will be cancelled. 

❖ If the transaction has not been successfully paid out to the beneficiary, the customer  can request a refund through the website if the transaction was paid on the website  or request a refund in a store if the transaction was paid for in store. 

❖ If the customer’s transaction has been successfully paid to the beneficiary, the transaction cannot be cancelled or refunded. 


What happens if the beneficiary/receiver is unable to collect the funds?

 

❖ SuperSwift has 14 days to pay a transaction. If the transaction cannot be paid in 10  days the call centre can contact the customer to check the transaction details are  correct. If still the issue cannot be resolved we will refund the customer.

Escalation Details 


❖ If a call or issue needs to be escalated and cannot be resolved by the call  centre agent, an email can be sent to support@superswift.co.za.
