# One Way Bus Booking
Booking a one-way bus ticket on Computicket is a straightforward process designed to ensure you have a seamless travel experience. Follow these steps to secure your ticket:
### Step 1: Search for Your Bus
Begin by navigating to the Find Your Perfect Bus search panel. Make sure to select "One Way" at the top of the panel. If you are planning a return journey, you can select "Return." Enter your departure city or bus stop, your destination, the date you wish to travel, and the number of passengers along with their types (e.g., adult, child). Once all details are filled in, click on "Search Bus Tickets" to see your options.
### Step 2: Review Available Services
The results page will display all available bus services. At the top, you’ll find Smart Recommendations highlighting the Best Price (the lowest fare available) and the Fastest Journey (the shortest travel time). Below this, you will see a comprehensive list of services, including the bus operator, service number, departure and arrival times, journey duration, stops, and the total price per passenger. To refine your search, use the Filters panel on the left to select specific bus operators or departure times. When you find a service that suits your needs, click "Book Now" to proceed.
### Step 3: Confirm Your Reservation
After selecting a service, a "Tickets Reserved!" confirmation will appear, summarizing your journey details, including the operator, service number, and total price. Remember, your tickets are held for 15 minutes, so act quickly! If everything looks good, click "Continue to Passenger Details" to move forward, or choose "Cancel Reservation" if you need to make changes.
### Step 4: Enter Passenger Details
Fill out the Passenger Details form for each traveler. You will need to provide the title, name, surname, mobile number, and emergency contact number. Select the identification type (SA ID or Passport) and enter the ID number and date of birth (the date of birth will auto-populate if you choose SA ID). Don’t forget to select the gender and indicate if you are traveling with an infant by toggling the "With Baby" option. Pay attention to the Traveler Tips on the right, which recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early, carrying the same valid ID used for booking (digital copies are not accepted), checking the luggage policy, and keeping your emergency contact informed. Once completed, click "Continue to Payment."
### Step 5: Review Your Basket
The "Your Basket" page will display the bus operator, service type, full departure and arrival details, journey duration, and passenger count. A countdown timer will indicate how long your reservation is held. On the right, the Order Summary will show the subtotal and total amount, including all fees and taxes. When you’re ready, click "Proceed to Payment."
### Step 6: Complete Your Payment
On the Checkout page, fill in the Purchaser Information fields, including your title, name, surname, mobile number, and email. If you need a tax invoice, tick the appropriate checkbox. Choose your preferred Payment Method, either Pay with Peach Payments (accepting Mastercard, Visa, and EFT for all major South African banks) or Money Market Account (existing account required). Before finalizing your booking, ensure you tick both checkboxes confirming your agreement to the Terms and Conditions and that you have verified the date and time of your tickets. Click "Continue to Payment" to complete your booking.
### Important Tip
Remember, your tickets are only reserved for 15 minutes from the time of confirmation. It’s crucial to carry the same valid ID document used during booking when you travel, as bus operators do not accept digital copies. Happy travels!
